The Calf Roper outsole is not slip resistant.  Twisted X designed the Calf Roper for calf ropers to wear when participating in an arena setting.  This boot is designed for quickness and easy exit from the stirrup.  The construction is light weight and not suitable for work environments or abuse.  Please purchase the Calf Roper for its intended use or casual use only.
